Samenvatting

Alzheimer's disease is growing in numbers, and along with the aging problem a growing demand for healthcare and support on this matter is expected.
This document describes research done as to how this problem can be reduced by using the modern technology Augmented Reality. The concept for a new control system is researched and a prototype application has been made to bring it in practice. Research has been done on four different graphical user interfaces for this prototype. The conclusion is that a control system can be made by using a marker object (a physical square) to control an interface integrated in a living room, using a simplistic interface with static buttons.
