The HBO Knowledge Base is the perfect starting point for researchers. By publishing their work, they openly and freely share their knowledge with the rest of the world, adding value to their work and helping others with their research.
If you would like to share your research by publishing your work on the HBO Knowledge Base, please contact the library or Centre of Expertise of your university. For an overview of participating schools, click here.
All publications on the HBO Knowledge Base are stored in repositories (digital databases) of the universities. This means you can change the rights under which you share your work, even after placement on the HBO Knowledge Base (for example from ‘all rights reserved’ to a Creative Commons license). Please contact your university for more information on this subject. Your university is responsible for the correct placement of your research. Therefore, if anything is missing or should be corrected, please contact your university.
Want to know more about Creative Commons licenses? On this website the Commons are explained in detail.
The Digital Author Identifier (DAI) is a unique national number for every researcher working at a Dutch university or research institute. The DAI is the only independent (non-commercial) number for the Dutch researcher. SURF developed the DAI in collaboration with OCLC PICA, which maintains the DAIs in the National Thesaurus Authors’ Names (NTA). The DAI makes it possible to offer integrated information from the various repositories.
Would you like to know more about this subject or request a DAI number directly? Then contact the contact person at your university. They are happy to provide you with information.
