In Bhutan biogas energy can be used as an alternative energy for wood to meet the energy demand in the rural populace with effective management and utilisation of the biogas plant. Despite various benefits of biogas technology, biogas adoption has been less than anticipated. As of today, District Livestock Sector lacks knowledge on the reasons why the adoption of biogas is less than anticipated. The intended goal of this study was to make recommendation for examining various factors influencing the adoption of biogas technology to recommend the District Livestock Sector to adapt or change its policy.
